EMPOWERING YOUTH

THE NILE RIVER SKILLING INSTITUTE

2022

Located in Kisooba Village, Mukono District, our institute bridges the gap between education and employment. We provide practical, market-relevant vocational training to 48 students, equipping them with the life skills and technical proficiency needed to succeed

Our Technical Programs include:

Cosmetology, Fashion & Design, and Catering

This group of programs focuses on essential life and service skills, providing students with professional training to help them secure employment or start their own businesses.

Plumbing, Welding, and Carpentry

These programs equip students with critical technical proficiency in preparing them for careers in the building and construction sectors.

Bricklaying, Concrete Works, Motor Vehicle Mechanics, and Electrical Installation

These programs ensure students gain the hands-on expertise required for high-demand technical roles.

LEADERSHIP

The vision and direction of our organization are guided by Olive Kajubu, our Founder and Director. She also serves as a Shepherd at Worship Harvest Kito-Kisooba, ensuring our work remains deeply connected to the needs of the local community.
